Clio graduated cum laude from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theater Studies. In her junior year, she was selected as an O’Neill Playwriting Fellow and worked at the Cooperative Arts and Humanities High School teaching writing and playwriting to freshmen students.

Clio scored a 2370 on the SAT, a 760 on the U.S History Subject Test, and an 800 on the Literature subject test. She is experienced teaching Reading, Writing, and standardized test-taking skills. She enjoys getting to know her students personally in order to ensure her teaching sessions remain both fun and informative, and focuses on helping her students to develop an independent interest in the material they are working on.

Through Ivy Global's programs, students have improved an average of 200 points on their SAT scores. Generally, we expect our students to improve anywhere between 100 – 400 points. We use real SAT/ACT practice tests to measure our students so that results are not artificially inflated and reflect real improvement.

A typical class consists of a combination of lecture-based explanation, individual practice sections, and collaborative discussion. Our small classes make it possible for teachers to respond directly to student concerns about particular questions or concepts. Our instructors maintain a relaxed atmosphere. A typical class ends with our famous vocabulary game, fueled by friendly competition and laughter!

Our online courses closely follow the syllabus of our classroom courses and are designed to replicate the in-class experience with live instructors and small class sizes. We use the latest video conferencing technology to create the best online classroom experience. As the popularity of our online classes grow, students have found it effective in improving their test scores with the added convenience of learning from home. Once you have registered, the week before your course start date an email will be sent to you with the Zoom link you can use to access the live course at the designated time. You do not have to download any applications or make any system changes to your computer. All that is required is a computer with a working microphone and camera (to participate in course lectures) and a working internet connection. If you encounter difficulty, tech support is available to answer any additional questions you may have!

Yes! You will be shipped physical copies of Ivy Global's ACT Guide and Official ACT Prep Guide to the address you provide when you register for the course. If you registered for a course more than 2 weeks before the start date, your books should arrive at your door by the first class (barring any 3rd party shipping delays). If you registered closer to the course start date, books will be shipped out within 24 hours of receiving your registration and can take several business days to arrive. Full payment must be received within 5 business days of your online registration. We accept credit card payment online or over the phone. Call 1-888-588-7955 to make payments with a Visa or Mastercard.

We offer partial refunds for cancellations made at least 1 week prior to the class start. For refunds involving any of our services, a 5% administration fee will be applied.
