The Queen's University Faculty of Law is a professional faculty of Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and is regarded as one of the most prestigious institutions of legal education in North America.

While the tradition of legal education at Queen's University heralds back nearly 150 years, the law school as it currently exists was officially established in 1957. Faculty members from Queen's have been honoured with major teaching and research awards, and are recognized nationally and internationally as leading experts in their fields. Past and current professors at Queen's such as William Lederman, Toni Pickard, Gary Trotter, Allan Manson, Nick Bala and Don Stuart are routinely cited in Supreme Court of Canada and other appellate decisions.

Regular Admission Requirements

"To be eligible for admission, applicants must have successfully completed a minimum of three years of full-time undergraduate studies at an institution recognized as providing an academic environment and education that prepares students for potential success in advanced study. Prior to completion of undergraduate degree studies, the applicant would have completed secondary schooling in Canada or equivalent pre-university studies."

The applicant’s academic record and LSAT score are weighed most heavily in this category. In making distinctions between applicants who are equally competitive on these bases, the other criteria set forth in the Admissions Philosophy are weighed carefully. Competitive applicants will have at least an “A-” average (80–84 percent, GPA 3.7) in the last two years of their undergraduate degree program.

In 2009/2010, provided $650,000 in non-repayable bursary support to students with financial need and $240,000 in merit based awards.

Including government loans and grants, a total of over $4,500,000 in student financial assistance was provided to students
