Laurel P.

Laurel graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelors of Arts in Literary Studies and an Artist Diploma in Vocal Performance. With a GPA of 3.98, she was the recipient of the Prince of Wales Gold Medal from Victoria College for highest academic standing in any Bachelors of Arts degree program. She was a Dean’s List scholar and received numerous academic awards, including the Isabel Bader Scholarship, University of Toronto Scholar Award, Milton A. Buchanan Scholarship in Italian Studies, and E.G. Clark Scholarship in Biblical Hebrew.
Laurel is a gifted teacher who specializes in helping students with standardized tests and essays. She has excelled in standardized tests, scoring a 1540 out of 1600 on the SAT (99th percentile), a perfect ACT score of 36, and a perfect 800 on the Writing, Math, and French SAT subject tests. She has taught both the SAT and SSAT classes with Ivy Global and enjoys helping students of all ages achieve and surpass their academic goals. Graeme studied law at the University of Toronto and at McGill University's Faculty of Law. He graduated from Mount Allison University in International Relations with First Class Honours and was on the Dean's List.
He scored in the 99th percentile on both the LSAT (177) and SAT (1560). A gifted test taker, he enjoys helping students learn the methodologies and strategies necessary to improve their scores. He also has teaching experience as an English teacher in France and as a teaching assistant during his undergraduate years. Steve graduated from Queen's University with a Masters degree in English Literature. He also graduated with a bachelors degree from University of Western Ontario, where he was a Double Gold Medalist for the Highest Graduating Average in both English and History. He has received numerous awards, including the Swankie Award in American History, one of Canada's largest undergraduate history awards. He was also elected High School Valedictorian.

Natalie graduated cum laude from Harvard University in 2009 in Anthropology and Linguistics, and is now studying Engineering Science at the University of Toronto. She also won numerous Harvard fellowships to conduct research in the Middle East and Europe, including the President’s Discretionary Fund for the Middle East, the Harvard College Research Program, the Dean’s Summer Research Awards, and the Goelet Fund for Anthropology.
Natalie scored 1510 out of 1600 on the SAT, and on the GRE earned 740 on Verbal (99th percentile) and a perfect 800 on Math. She also scored a 170 on the LSAT. She has over 6 years of private tutoring experience and has taught English in the French Public School System.

While at UBC, she organized an impromptu Shakespeare reading society and at Cambridge, was the principal violist for their symphony orchestra. She enjoys teaching and mentorship and loves encouraging her students to make the most out of their abilities. Martha S. holds a B.A. in Political Science from McGill University, an M.A. in English Literature from Queen’s University, and an M.A. in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia. Her first novel was recently published by Random House Canada to critical acclaim, and will be published in 2012 by Farrar, Straus and Giroux US, and Penguin Australia/NZ. Martha’s articles, book reviews and fiction have appeared in The Globe and Mail, The New Quarterly, ELLE Canada, Broken Pencil, and Maisonneuve.
Martha has been the recipient of several academic awards and scholarships. She has extensive experience teaching writing and literature at both the high school and university level and helping students prepare for all sections of the SSAT. As a teacher, she is patient and enthusiastic, eager to impart her love of reading and learning.

Jaime is pursuing her PhD at Princeton University's Department of Politics, with a focus on political economy. She received a full, 7-year scholarship from Princeton, and was also the recipient of multiple research awards and prizes. Jaime also has an MA from Princeton and a BA (Hon) from McGill University, where she graduated with a 3.9 GPA and received McGill's prestigious Scarlet Key Award for community leadership.
Jaime specializes in working with students to improve their college applications, specializing in Ivy League and other top US universities. She also teaches the SSAT and SAT, working closely with students to build their math, vocabulary, and reading comprehension skills. When she is not working on her dissertation or teaching at Ivy Global, Jaime enjoys salsa dancing, hip hop music, and ice hockey. |
